Cream Cheese Shortbread

1 c butter
4 oz pkg cream cheese
1/2 c sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 c flour
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Cream butter and cheese. Add sugar and cream well. Add vanilla. Slowly add flour. Mix well. Form cookies with cookie press or roll to 3/8" thickness on lightly floured board. Cut with a cookie cutter. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
Yield: Approximately 3 dozen.
