Christmas Cards
You need:
thin cardboard
Christmas cookie cutters
thin foam or sponge
thick cardboard
glue
poster paints
Fold several pieces of cardboard in half, and put them
to one side.
Draw around one cutter onto thick cardboard.
Cut out the shape.
Lay the shape on the sponge, and draw
around it.
Cut out the sponge shape and glue to the
cardboard to make a printing block.
Mix thick paint in a saucer. Dip the sponge in the
paint and press onto the front of a folded card.
Repeat to make many more cards.
You can also use your
blocks to print matching patterns on envelopes,
gift tags,
and wrapping paper.
