Butter Creme Mints
3 Tbsp butter (softened) |
Blend butter, condensed milk, candy flavoring (peppermint or favorite). Gradually add powdered sugar
until mixture is stiff. Add desired coloring, a drop at a time. Knead mixture until blended and is a consistency to handle well.
Roll into small balls. Roll balls in granulated white sugar. If using a candy mold, mold and unmold at once. If not using a mold,
mash out the balls into mint size. Freezes well; keep wrapped. Makes 60 mints. Source: Marjorie W. Baxia |
