Nutty Popcorn Treats

Grease 13x9" baking pan. In a 5-qt Dutch oven over low heat, cook marshmallows, vanilla milk chips, and margarine until melted and smooth. Remove saucepan from heat; stir in popcorn, peanuts, and vanilla extract until well blended. Press mixture firmly into pan; sprinkle with gumdrops; gently press into popcorn mixture. Let stand at room temperature about 1 hour before cutting. To serve, cut lengthwise into 6 strips, then cut each strip crosswise into 6 pieces. Store in tightly covered container. Makes 36 cookies. |
