2 lbs stewing beef
flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder to taste
2 Tbsp oil
10 oz can mushroom soup
1/2 c dry white wine
1 med onion, chopped
10 oz can sliced mushrooms, undrained
Dredge beef in seasoned flour and brown in oil. Mix soup, wine, onion, and mushrooms in a casserole.
Add beef. Cover with tight-fitting lid and bake at 300º for 3-4 hours. Serves 4-6.
