Cherry Merry Christmas Crunch

Generously grease baking sheet. Combine walnuts, cherries, butter, extracts, and salt in medium bowl; set aside. Combine sugar, corn syrup, and maple syrup in heavy large saucepan. Bring to a boil. Cook over medium heat until mixture reaches 300º on candy thermometer (hard-crack stage). Remove from heat; stir in walnut mixture. Quickly pour onto prepared pan. Cool completely. Break into pieces.
